At the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), we believe university is a life experience that extends far beyond the classroom, lab or workshop. UFV offers a multitude of on and off campus opportunities such as: Co-Curricular Record, volunteer experiences, student jobs, over 100 student clubs, research opportunities, Co-op, varsity and intramural sports, student lead newspaper and radio station, international student clubs and more!

 

Abbotsford is a city located in the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, adjacent to Greater Vancouver with an estimated population of 145,000, it is recognized as third most diverse city in Canada. The UFV Abbotsford campus features classroom and office spaces, a large library, a cafeteria, coffee shops and restaurants, a four-floor residence with 200 beds, a bookstore, a sports centre, and a 50,000 square foot student centre that integrates student activities and campus life with key academic and administrative offices. UFV is a comprehensive university offering a wide range of programs including Masters, Bachelor Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates, Academic Upgrading and ESL. In addition to a world-class education, UFV supports students providing a nationally accredited Co-op program, Co-Curricular Credit Recognition, Career Center, a Student Success Centre, international services, residences and a vibrant student life.

 

UFV is a fully accredited, public university. UFV is accredited by AVED( Ministry of Advanced Education) and EQA (Education Quality Assurance) for provincial accreditation, certified by Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and CICIC (Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials) for national membership
