  2. Transfer the exam fee of 3,750 baht to Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, account name: British Academic Center Co., Ltd. account number: 274-213338-1.<\/li>\n
  3. Scan and email the following documents:
    – Completed application form
    – Copy of ID card
    – Proof of payment of exam fee<\/li>\n

    – Note –<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Registration time is from 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM, and the exam will start from 12:00 PM onwards.<\/li>\n
    2. If candidates arrive at the exam venue after 11:50 AM, they will not be allowed to take the exam.<\/li>\n
    3. On the exam day, candidates must bring the original ID card or passport used during exam registration.<\/li>\n
    4. Cancellation or Postponement of Exam<\/strong>: Candidates can request to cancel or postpone their exam if done at least 5 weeks before the exam date. (For requests made less than 5 weeks in advance, no exam fee refund will be provided under any circumstances). Candidates will be charged a cancellation fee of 750 THB. The remaining exam fee will be refunded in full within 4 weeks after the cancellation request is submitted in writing (candidates must complete a cancellation form with the office).<\/li>\n
    5. Exam results will be sent to the registered email within 1 week after the exam date.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      – For students applying to the Joint Master Programmes –<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Students who have graduated from an International Programme within the last 2-5 years may not need to submit an English proficiency test score for certain universities (please check with the staff for details).<\/li>\n
      2. The required English proficiency score depends on the university selected.<\/li>\n
      3. If the exam score is an overall 5.5 with no skill below 5.0, the candidate may submit the results to enroll in the Joint Pre-sessional English Programme<\/strong>, an Academic English course designed to prepare students for a master\u2019s degree. The course details for the Joint Pre-sessional English Programme<\/strong><\/a> are as follows: This programme begins either before or alongside the Joint Master Programmes<\/strong> (duration: 60-100 hours, fee: 69,500 THB, group study).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Exam assessment
        <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

        BACIET<\/strong> is an assessment tool designed to evaluate and differentiate English language proficiency across a range equivalent to IELTS 4.0 to 7.0. The test covers all four core language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading<\/strong>, and Writing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

        \t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t1. Listening<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/div>

        The Listening test lasts approximately 30 minutes, followed by an additional 10 minutes for candidates to transfer their answers to the answer sheet. A variety of question types are used, including comprehension, multiple-choice, summary and gap-fill questions.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

        \t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t2. Speaking<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/div>

        The Speaking test is a face-to-face oral interview with an examiner, lasting between 10 to 12 minutes. It may be recorded for further assessment, validation, or moderation purposes.
        The interview is conducted in three phases:
        Phase One<\/strong>: The examiner introduces themselves, confirms the candidate’s identity, and asks four to five general questions on familiar topics such as interests, studies, culture, family, or home.
        Phase Two<\/strong>: The candidate is presented with a task card containing a specific topic and prompts for a short talk. They are given one minute to prepare and then speak for one to two minutes, followed by related follow-up questions from the examiner.
        Phase Three<\/strong>: A deeper discussion on the topic from Phase Two, allowing for more complex questions and extended responses.
        Throughout the speaking test, a range of skills is assessed, including the ability to express opinions, provide general and specific information, and describe experiences and situations. Candidates are evaluated against four criteria: fluency and coherence, lexical resource, grammatical range and accuracy,<\/strong> and pronunciation<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

        \t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t3. Reading<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/div>

        The Reading test is 60 minutes long with no extra time for transferring answers. It consists of multiple sections:
        A descriptive text with multiple-choice gaps, assessing vocabulary or grammar.
        A general grammar section with various structure-based multiple-choice questions.
        A long reading passage with true\/false\/not given statements and content-based multiple-choice questions.
        A passage accompanied by an unlabelled diagram, which the candidate must label using provided options.
        A final section where candidates match newspaper headlines to short news articles.
        The reading component assesses a wide range of skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, inference, summarizing, understanding a writer\u2019s opinion, and following the development of an argument.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

        \t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t4. Writing<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/div>

        The Writing test is 60 minutes long and consists of two tasks:
        Task 1<\/strong>: Candidates write at least 150 words describing or interpreting information from a visual source, such as a chart, table, diagram, or graph. This may involve explaining data, describing a process, or outlining an event or object.
        Task 2<\/strong>: Candidates write a minimum of 250 words in the form of a formal essay, responding to a point of view, argument, or problem of general interest.
        As well as Task 1 and Task 2, this section also includes a short language test \/ what’s known as a ‘cloze test. Both tasks are assessed based on four criteria: task achievement\/response, coherence and cohesion, lexical resource<\/strong>, and grammatical range and accuracy<\/strong>. Task 1 contributes one-third of the total writing score, while Task 2 accounts for two-thirds.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
